We spent 3 nights at Holy River Stays and honestly, it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome — not in a scripted, hotel-training kind of way, but in a warm, personal way that’s hard to find these days. Whenever we needed something, the response was almost immediate. Whether it was a question, a request, or just needing a bit of guidance, someone was always available and happy to help. They gave us great tips on places to visit around the area and pointed us to some really good local spots to eat — the kind of recommendations you’d only get from someone who actually knows the place. The room itself was cozy and well thought out. Clean, comfortable, and with a charm that felt boutique without being over the top. And for what you pay, it genuinely feels like you’re getting more than your money’s worth. Location-wise, we had easy access to the main attractions, which made everything so much more relaxed. No stressful commutes, no wasted time — just enjoyed every bit of it. Would absolutely come back and recommend it without hesitation.

Lo céntrico que está para los ghats y esta al lado de un restaurante que se llama café kothi muy bueno comida occidental y super barato muy recomendable el hotel como el restaurante y tiene un rooftop 😊

The location is perfect near the ghat, Mr Utkarsh is a gem of a person, never met a person like him in my entire life, so polite, so humble, so knowledgeable and on top of it he is just like a family while you stay in the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Holy River Stay’s Varanasi. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the Ganges River Ghats, making it perfect for travelers who want to truly focus on experiencing the spiritual atmosphere and daily life around the river. The owner was incredibly kind, responsive, and communicative from the beginning until the end of my stay, which made everything smooth and comfortable. The staff were also very helpful and caring. They personally came to pick me up and guide me safely into the hotel, which I really appreciated, especially in Varanasi’s small lanes. They even took the time to show me around and accompanied me to important temples for prayer. Their hospitality made my experience much more meaningful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, authentic stay near the Ganga.

The caretaker Utkarsh was very kind and helped me with anything I needed. He showed me around and took me to the aarti ceremony and told me many things about the city. Since I am traveling alone it was great to have that kind of care because Varanasi can be a lot.

The guy helped us a lot, took us on a tour around the hidden city and explained many interesting stories about religion.

A bit noisy at night, just the neighbours.
