Our host couldn't have been more helpful, especially when it came to arriving and leaving as we got lost getting there! He also gave us advice for our next few destinations

Location very close to the river, Kuldeep is a great host, property is very clean and has all the amenities you need.

Difficult to access with luggage and find the first time, but the host can arrange a porter for reasonable cost to assist.

We do not know if you would find a better property in Varanasi but you will not find a better host. From the moment you let Kuldeep know how you are arriving he will arrange everything including a very late delayed transfer and food in our room. This hotel is a quintessential, boutique, rough diamond, honest and one which you will not regret booking. The location is just off the river so is very easy to navigate once you have arrived. You can tell why people stay here for longer. Highly recommended!

You cannot criticise this property.

A little gem right in the heart of Kashi. With access through one of the narrow streets, there is not a trace of a traffic sound, so you get to enjoy absolutely peaceful sunrise views above the Ganga from the rooftop. Just a staircase away from the river bank, some 7 min walk from the mysterious Manikarnika Ghat. Rooms are super clean with contemporary furnishing and lovely personal touches such as wall murals and soulful names of rooms. Aircon, heater for cold mornings, towels, amenities... Pretty much all you can wish for. But the best part is the atmosphere!! Kuldeep, the owner, and his team go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Breakfast served in bed, yummi home-cooked  meals, loundry service, even an in-room massage, or running small errands for you is possible if that's what you desire. As a solo female traveler slightly intimidated by the traffic and the labyrinth of pathways, I also appreciated being accompanied on my walks to the market in the beginning. Originally booked for 3 nights, stayed for 26. Couldn't have chosen a better place.

The host was really responsive and helpful and replied fast to all our questions. Our driver communicated with the staff of the home stay and someone came to pick us up at the point where no cars could enter anymore. The staff even carried our luggage through the narrow streets of varanassi. So that was helpful. We were welcomed with a really nice Indian, local dessert on the terrace. The host organised a boat ride for two for us to see the aarti ceremony that was super uncomplicated and nice. He even offered us to go and see a temple but we were to tired by then. When we asked for dinner recommendations, the host really nicely offered us to get us food and prepared everything on the wonderful terrace with a view in the Ganga :)

The linen were not clean, but the host immediately brought us new blankets, offered a discount and even gave me a small present as an apology. We also asked for the bathroom to be cleaned again.
