Riverbank View Three Bedroom Apartment with Free Parking

The apartment was in a good location and was very quiet. The parking was really helpful too. Peter was brilliant and met us and showed us around. We really appreciated the extra touches of milk bread tea coffee cereal jam butter biscuits and chocolates

Peter met us at the apartment and was full of information. We were left lots of treats and breakfast items, which was so thoughtful.

There wasn’t anything to complain about, it was a bitterly cold evening and there was a supply of extra heaters, everything was thought about.

Great host Peter was lovely a credit to his daughter. The extra gifts where much appreciated the chocolates and biscuits we had bread jams honey milk orange juice and cereals. The apartment had everything you needed and was a quick 10min stroll to the centre.

Heating could be set a little higher as we where chilly at night but used a blanket. The shower was OK but could do with an updated faster one.

Host was very helpful and welcoming, kind and friendly. There were great welcoming touches, tea & coffee, bottle of wine, milk cereal. Layout was good, location excellent.

Some fixtures and fittings were tired, cracked veneer on cupboards in kitchen and bathroom, dish washer not fixed well into cupboard. Mattress was uncomfortable and didn’t suit my back at all. Was generally clean but not completely, bathroom and sitting room needed a deeper, more careful clean.

The apartment is very well equipped and is within easy walking distance of York city centre. We were met by Peter on arrival and shown how everything worked, which was good. We also managed to park both of our cars in the apartment block car parking spaces.

With four adults staying, we felt an extra comfy chair would have been a good addition to the lounge as one of our party had to sit on a dining chair in the evening as there wasn’t really room on the sofa. Apart from that it was all good!

first impression a little decieving . what a lovley appartment thought we was going to be let down .but my word could not ask for anything .better. the location is good. sainsbury,s on door step. Peter was very imformative and helpfull. very nice guy. there was milk,bread, cerial ,butter jam pots buiscits, chocolate. only 1 thing letting down in kitchen no egg poacher not the end of the world . had a good week end aroud york . will be going back.

like i said just no egg poacher. (unless i have missed it). everything else very good

Peter and Carol have thought of absolutely everything. The apartment was spotless with everything you could possibly need and more. From the warm welcome from Peter, when we arrived, to all the little extra touches, we were immediately made to feel at home in their beautiful apartment. 2 people in our family have mobility issues, this apartment was ideal for them as it was all on one level from the front door (there are 3 small steps up to the front door). It is in a lovely quiet area, with a view of the river from the living room. A nice easy walk and you are in the centre of York and there are shops, restaurants and pubs all nearby. It really is everything you could want for a stay in York and more.
