Very clean property and rooms are spacious and new, and the location is 15 min walk to tooth temple.

The accommodation was impeccable and by far the cleanest place we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were spotless, everything was well maintained, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. There is not much we can say about the hosts, as we had very little interaction with them and they did not check in with us during our stay. However, everything was organized well and we had no issues. Overall, we would recommend this accommodation, especially for its exceptional cleanliness.

Spacious, clean room, excellent WIFI and a hot shower. Beds were also very comfortable. Nice view of the hills. Located at a quiet end of the lake near The Temple of the Tooth Relic. This temple and its gardens are a must see especially around ceremony time. Staff were excellent, spoke English, made us feel very welcome and assisted with onward travel and local sightseeing. The lake is around a 10 minute walk away. There are a few restaurants up the road, about a 12 minute walk up the hill. We ate at "Herbs and Spices" (Kandy Fried Chicken)...Small local restaurant with excellent food at a good price. Supermarkets and ATM are primarily located in the town.

As a suggestion only, have a breakfast, it does not have to be extensive.

Shower is not really hot

We stayed at Ark Cabin for two nights with our two toddlers. The room was huge, clean, no mould, good beds and crispy linen. Having the fully equipped kitchen was definitely a plus to cook a few things and prepare snacks for the little ones. The team at the hotel was very welcoming and helpful. We would def recommend this place.

Comfortable beds, and clean rooms. The shower was warm and powerful with nice addition of shower gel / shampoo.

The room was very spacious and easily fit three people. Everything was clean and well maintained, and it had a fridge and kettle, which was really convenient. The shower was also great, modern, powerful, and much nicer than we expected. The location was perfect for us. It’s close to Kandy city centre, around a 20-minute walk along the lake or just a short tuk-tuk ride, but the area itself is quiet and peaceful. After spending time in the busy city, it was nice to come back somewhere calm. The staff were wonderful. Every time we needed help or had a question, they responded straight away and were always friendly and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place close to Kandy without being right in the middle of the noise, I can definitely recommend staying here.
