Residence on Park Street

The hotel looks amazing and it has been maintained really well. It was our second trip there and I must say I was disappointed by the service. The checking process was relatively pain-free but it all went downhill from there. I can't imagine how a simple request for an ice bucket could take up to an hour and when we sat around for breakfast we noticed that foreigners who came in after us were served before us. The restaurant manager made it a point to speak to everyone about their meals but never bothered with us. They went out of their way for foreign guests but dealt with our requests with nothing but apathy. It is really sad to see staff being prejudiced in this day and age, specially when we locals pay the same amount. I am thoroughly disgusted by this and will take it up with the management.

For improvement:- 1) Mosquitoes and cockroaches, lots. But the team cleaned them out speedily 2) Bathroom layout, could have been more practical 3) Too many doors to open to come back to the hotel room, at least 3 Really Great:- 4) Fast to listen to feedback, acted on the feedback, which is crucial 5) fairly new hotel, noticed the owner is constantly on upgrading the property 6) a posh location for families and young hipsters to hang out and dine 7) 10 rooms and 1 suite, so the guests can feel at home without the crowds 8) the breakfast and dinner are amazingly good, asked for recommendations from the team 9) room is really large 10) Service is exceptionally well

A beautiful relaxing boutique hotel in a quiet but accessible part of Colombo. Our room was palatial and very comfortable. Welcome drink and tray of sweets and chocolate was a lovely touch. Staff were very attentive and efficient. The bar and restaurant were fantastic. Great cocktails, wonderful food- Euro-Asian fusion, but leaning more to European. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and hope to return there soon.

We have rented this venue while our visit to Colombo and instantly fell in love with its charm and colonial ambiance. The lobby/bar/restaurant/pool area etc. are very well maintained, cleaned every day, and has a nice vibe. The rooms are large, clean and well attended to. The service and food are excellent and the location is also well situated (Colombo 3). A street hosting numerous bars/cafés/restaurants is walking distance as well as a temple. I highly recommend this venue for your stay in Colombo.

Amazing beautiful hotel. Staff superb, restaurant amazing. Had a wonderful stay, peaceful and calm get away in the middle of Colombo. Close to many facilities. Highly recommend!!

Lovely hotel in the centre of the City. When you go through the gates you are in a different world which seems far away from the City. We used it as our last stop before flying out early the next morning. This was a mistake because we could not fully enjoy it and it was quite a drive to the airport. If you like boutique hotels you will not be disappointed.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Exceptional. Delicious food. Friendly, approachable and helpful staff. Beautiful calm oasis in the middle of Colombo.

I think that the best hotel I stay on it ever. The small problem was there is no room for the driver.

From pulling up in our transfer until we left 3 days later the hotel exceeded our already high expectations. The restaurant is amazing and your stay should include an evening meal here. The rooms are spacious and you lack for nothing. The staff are helpful, above and beyond. The whole residence is a perfect oasis amidst skyscrapers going up all around. An absolute gem.
