Shieldhall - Cabinetmakers Suite

We loved everything about this place. The location was perfect - easy scenic drive to coastal hiking and Holy Island hiking. The accommodation was lovely with well equipped kitchen, great WiFi, delicious treat of a hamper with bread, cheese, milk, etc. There's nothing not to like.

Lovely welcome on arrival. First impression warm, clean, homely, beautifully appointed. Welcome basket of local products. Lots of lovely places to visit nearby. Lovely outside seating areas. A place to relax

The accommodation was really comfortable and done to a high standard. A lot of thought had gone into creating a special luxurious feel to the house. We especially enjoyed the milk, cheese, and bread in the fridge and that everything was done to a high standard.

Everything was more than perfect.

Sensational accommodation. Every thing was so well appointed and it has the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in. Well beyond my expectations. Lovely setting in a family farm / converted barn situation in a fairly remote area. Friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent welcome pack of local goodies.

Nothing, just a wonderful place. You certainly need a car, as there is nothing within walking distance, but for us that was part of it's charm. Would love to stay again.

Everything was wonderful. The property is beautiful, warm and cosy with luxury bedding. Sarah also provided a much welcomed bottle of local milk, homemade bread and a lovely hamper.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this property it is truly 5*

The setting amongst the countryside yet close to places of interest in the area. Spotlessly clean, excellent welcome hamper with fresh bead, milk, cheese etc. Super king bed really comfy and plenty of throws provided to snuggle under on colder days. Coffee machine with pods provided.

Small criticism, the mugs and bowls were a little small for those of us who like our tea/coffee and soup/porridge/cereal!
