"Super comfortable cottage in a great location"

Super cosy, amazingly comfortable bed (think 5 star hotel), lovely bathroom, comfortable living room, and a small but beautifully designed kitchen. Perfect location for exploring Northumberland. Check in and out was really easy, and we felt very looked after with lots of special touches

The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to leave

Beautiful accommodation with fine design touches. We appreciated the custom built wood work. Very comfortable bed and high quality linen. Tasty welcome pack with local treats appreciated.

A little at a distance from any amenities but also peaceful because of this.

"Beautifully furnished unit in an area of natural beauty."

A beautifully furnished and comfortable unit with plenty of space and lovely views of the countryside. An outstanding welcome pack of goodies from the local area and peace and quiet to enjoy our stay. Very accommodating host-lovely to stay somewhere with such a high standard of cleanliness and we really enjoyed reading all the information about the local area that was provided and also the local history of the village as well as the fact that Kirkharle was the birthplace of Capability Brown. If you are staying there, make sure you visit the Kirkharle Courtyard about 5 mins up the road which fantastic local arts and crafts at very reasonable prices (I bought lots of presents) and you can talk to the artists themselves as well as supporting local businesses. Great coffee shop as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Nothing-it was so relaxing and comfortable.

"A great place to stay and excellent value."

A very well equipped cottage, super comfy bed and loads of hot water for a lovely long bath at the end of a hard day's work. Great value and would definitely use as a base again. The basket of treats was very much appreciated too.
