Fawlty Towers Accommodation & Activities

Excellent location, loved a dip in the pool , gardens kept beautifully maintained, the lounge is verty cozy with some magazines to read. New gift shop is full of lovely goodies , portrait book. Comfy room

All good. Just bit of evening noise from neighbouring bars, but not Fawlty's fault .

It's what it stays on the tin. The location is perfect . Breakfast could be served a bit longer . When you have too many people staying as you do. Some people dont get to have breakfast as it can get crowded

Friendly and helpful staff.

Fawlty Towers is a very deceptive accommodation. Located on a busy street, the facade is not welcoming but once you step inside the secure, metal gates, things change. A quiet, leafy, beautifully maintained and tranquil garden with huge trees and a lovely pool await. Friendly, welcoming staff greet you. The very stylish and well stocked bar could belong to a top end London hotel. The cooked to order breakfast was delicious. While the room was dated, it was very clean and comfortable, the only noise I heard was the tooting of the train from Livingstone station and the church bells from the nearby church. Supermarket, shops and restaurants are all very nearby and a very safe walk away. The airport is 15 minutes away. Will definitely use Fawlty Towers whenever I am in Livingstone.

This was a lovely little oasis in Livingstone. Initially I was put off by the iron door and frontage, but once inside it's a lovely green area with seating, pool, bar and seating area surrounded by lovely little chalets. The bar area in particular is very comfortable. They do a lot of trips as well, although I didn't take any of these. Best room of my trip and the staff incredibly friendly. Definitely stay here rather than the soulless resorts out of town.

They do need to sort out breakfast though...It's the only part of the place that seems still in "hostel" mode. One day I had to return 3 times before getting a seat. Also not having any juice at all and only chicory coffee sachets really isn't good enough. Started to bring my own juice, coffee and teaspoon. All that said, the cooked breakfast itself was excellent, so just a few small adjustments really would bring it right up to hotel and standard for the price.

Situated in a good position in the town. King size room. Beds super comfy and very clean
