Giardini di Luce

El sitio donde esta el alojamiento es increíble, su terraza es un mirador, ver Matera desde la cama es una experiencia única, pese a estar en todo el centro de la ciudad antigua de Matera nos fue fácilmente accesible desde donde aparcamos el coche.

El check out a las 10:00 am. Nos parece excesivamente pronto, apenas disfrutamos la noche y tuvimos que levantarnos deprisa para hacer el check out. Nos sorprendió que el desayuno terminase mas tarde que la salida de la habitación! Definitivamente este horario si solo te quedas una noche en el alojamiento nos parece insuficiente, no te deja descansar ni disfrutar de un despertar natural en Matera porque tienes que andar pendiente del despertador y de recoger la maleta para hacer el check out. El desayuno pese a estar muy bien para las pocas habitaciones que son, tengo que decir que nos sentimos un poco vigilados, solo éramos dos personas las que estábamos desayunando en un espacio reducido y la encargada del alojamiento se sentó junto a la cafetera sin hacer nada, mirando como desayunábamos, un poco incomodo.

Tout était parfait. L’hôtel est dans les Sassis donc évident pas d’accès en voiture autorisé, il faut se garer au parking payant ou dans une rue gratuite (lignes blanches)à 15min à pied. Il y une navette pour 1,50€ par personne, arrêt numéro 5, l’hôtel est juste au dessus. Pour les valises lourdes un petit effort sera nécessaire et on parle plus. C’est propre, la chambre avec la baignoire balnéo est top ! L’emplacement est magnifique, à 5-10min à pied de tout. Je recommande les yeux fermés cet établissement.

The location of the property was good. We arrived by 1pm to the property, it was mid day in July scorching sun and there is no one at the hotel reception, it’s closed and we called the hotel and they said they are available at the reception only during check in and checkout/breakfast hours. The lady arrived after an hour by 2pm and we had to wait outside at a nearby restaurant where we stopped for lunch because we had nowhere to go. We parked the car outside the ZTL zone and it was a 10min walk to the property the last 5 mins walk is through stairs which are quite slippery. The room itself is nice & clean with free WiFi, 2 small water bottles and AC and the views from rooftop terrace & the garden are really nice. The breakfast option is a nice addition to the room. There are lots of restaurants nearby and the property is just a 10-15 min walk to the other popular photo spots.

Parking costed 20€ (10€ per night) and a 10min walk to the property in the hot sun with the luggage. Breakfast is very basic should add more options.

The location is incredible, bang in the center of Matera and it is one of the best views in Matera! The roof garden on top with the view is huge and really unique! The room was spot clean and the bathroom as well, and the outdoor private balcony was so nice! The staff super friendly and helpful! The hotel is brand new and it's super nicely done! I highly recommend it!

The shower in the bedroom might be a little uncomfortable if you are travelling with friends but you can alternate in the room when showering, so it's ok!

Excellent accueil, petit-déjeuner très bien. La vue est magnifique. Le logement n'est pas forcément facile à trouver dans le dédale de minuscules ruelles de Matera, mais avec l'aide de la propriétaire, on y arrive !

Wszystko było wspaniale. Niesamowite miejsce z jeszcze lepszym widokiem i gospodarzem. Przepiękny widok i super urządzony pokój.
