The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very warm.

The shower had decent water pressure and the bed was comfortable enough, though it was pushed up against the wall.

Geeeted with full rubbish bags outside. Duvet smelled of smoke, fridge was filthy, bathroom mat was dirty with other people's habitation. The sign in the kitchen said 'All You Need is Love and a Cup of Tea. There were no cups, or bowls, we hunted the only ones down in a kitchen downstairs. Did I mention the stairs? Nowhere to sit but on the bed. Foam soundproofing haphazardly glued to the bedroom walls. Parking on the street was a mission. This had the feel of a flea pit and the charm of an unwashed armpit. Cheap but not cheerful. I nearly cried. Welcome to the UK!

The property is self check in, I received on WhatsApp a message in advance with instructions. The property is on a very busy narrow street and you can't find parking. I get to the room, on the bed there were several pillows and four towels, the way they looked seemed strange to me and I touched/smelled them, two of them were already damp and smelly, a sign that they had already been used. At this point I pulled the pillows and duvet aside and saw the miracle! The bedsheets were stained with blood, some other stains, long hair... Some pillows smelly... I will attach some photos. At this moment I contacted the owner by sending pictures and he started apologizing and told me to get the keys for the understairs storage from the kitchen and get clean bedsheets. Here he found another miracle. Towels and bedsheets just dropped there on the shelves looking like they weren't clean either. Photo to attach. Yes, you guessed it, I left the property.

The room was simple but clean, with fresh towels and bedsheets, which I appreciated. However, there were a few important issues that future guests should be aware of.

There was visible mold on the wall and baseboard, and a strong air freshener was used to mask the smell. Unfortunately, the bathroom had a strong mold odor as well, which made the stay uncomfortable. While I don’t mind basic accommodations, mold is a health concern that can have long-term effects, especially for children. There was no Wi-Fi available, and I almost missed my flight because I couldn’t order an Uber. My roaming signal was weak, which made it difficult to arrange transportation. The place could be fine for a short stay if the mold issue is addressed and Wi-Fi is added. At this point, though, I would not recommend it, particularly for families or anyone sensitive to mold.
