OYO Shanklin Beach Hotel

Everything is very good. Good view, good scenery, good room, most importantly, good host!

The location was ok. Not alot opened

They had builders there. A large party in the hall opposite our room that lasted until very late. Lots of shouting, music and slamming of doors. There were no staff, no bar or restaurant opened. We messaged several times to complain and have not had a satisfactory response!

Bit of confusion when I turned up however I think he's name was Gary the manager who lives there sorted it within minutes very polite and professional cheers mate clean and comfortable bed and room red hot shower view out to sea all round pretty good for 50 quid well worth it

absolutely everything, especially the staff, never met such lovely, courteous and polite, eager to help staff in a hotel. This was our second visit and loved it!

Location . Balcony sea view fantastic. Room was clean big and modern and value for money however …

There is more water pressure from the broken guttering outside on a rainy day on the balcony than in the bathroom. The bath took 27 mins to be half full! The balcony is slippery and needs a jet wash. There is a step outside the balcony door with no warning sign just a thin strip of yellow and black tape if you look down ! The toilet is not accessible for anyone above a size ten ! For such a big room they could spare a few inches for a more comfortable experience! There is no hand rail in the bathroom considering the main demographic for this hotel is mature is an accident waiting to happen. The bed was not comfortable at all! no phone in the room for emergencies or to contact reception. No local information in the room lots of posters and instructions around the reception which makes it feel A bit like a scout hostel and not a hotel. While the parking is free which is a bonus the surface of the car park is a lawsuit in waiting …don’t wear heels if you want to keep both your ankles ! To the management I know a reliable local handyman who can take care of all your repair needs.

The car park need resurfacing
