Great base for a rugby weekend in cardiff

The location was marvelous just a few minutes walk to the bay but in a quiet area. It was on 3 floors and nicely decorated and furnished and had nearly everything we needed. 1st floor with main living room and kitchen area. The bathroom/toilet was on the 3rd floor with the bedrooms and there was a useful extra toilet on the ground floor entrance hall. There was just enough room to be able to park our car directly in front of the house.

It was very hot weather and unfortunately the 1st and 2nd floors had large windows facing south/west in the hallways with no way of covering the windows to keep out the sun (and heat) during the whole day! Consequently the bedrooms on the top floor were unbearably hot even with the fans provided. If there were curtains/blinds that would help. The mattress was very lumpy and needed replacing but because of the heat we did not need the duvet and we put that on the mattress to pad it. There was also no trays in the oven so we couldn't use it.

.Apartment was dirty.One of the beds wasn't very clean.Holes in wall.Toilet seat, toilet bin broken.Dog hairs, rip on Sofa, rusty radiators. To top it all check out clearly states from 10am-4pm.Cleaner turned up at 10 and told us to get out despite me explaining that we were planning on leaving within the hour.I showed her the check out times, as shown on booking.com to which she blatantly said it didn't say that, which it clearly did then said "you need to get out now! " I explained I had an autistic son and we would be leaving within 45 mins but no sooner as he has extreme difficulties staying on task in the morning.

Close to Cardiff bay

The beds were so uncomfortable as was the sofa. The sign on the wall said we had access to Netflix yet we couldn’t access it. Loose handles on the windows, the property needs some TLC
