Point Cottages, Bamburgh

Unbeatable location, beach access, gorgeous views, lovely space, lots of outdoor space which the children loved. Plenty of kitchen supplies and things like washing up liquid/dishwasher tablets etc.

A couple of faults at the property but nothing that would stop me returning. Hot water from tap very poor but there was a dishwasher, a lot of the curtains were broken especially in the children’s room which isn’t great with lighter nights. One of the tv remotes not working. The freezer had over frozen.

Couple of minor things in property that were raised eith the host at the end of the stay.

A perfect home from home everything you need. Great enclosed garden for our 2 cockerpoo’s. Can’t wait to return

The 9am check out

The location was perfect with wonderful views of the sea, beaches and Bamburgh Castle

There were no tea towels or an oven glove, which would have been useful.

Location, facilities, comfort

Plates were huge and didn’t fit into dishwasher. Also 9 check out was quite early. 10 would be better and more standard.

The location of the property is perfect, the lounge and bedroom have amazing views out to sea without interruption.

The bathroom needs replacing, the electric shower is particularly poor, the room is cold and no complimentary shower gel or soaps provided. I can't remember the last time I stayed anywhere that doesn't provided soaps, shampoos and shower gel.

The location and views were fabulous

It is tired and definitely in need of some TLC, damaged dining table, grouting in en-suite mouldy, woodwork rotten and peeling.

It's a lovely little place with a great view.

Having been before a few years ago I did notice it's starting to look a little tired also lots of cobwebs and the cleaning could be better after all it's not a cheap place to stay. I would also recommend maybe a ner curtain for the rear window in the living room as the low sun in the autumn makes it quite dazzling with nothing you can do about it.
