The Badger House

Beautiful and large house in beautiful nature, very secluded. Great base to explore King's canyon and Sequoia Nat'l parks. BBQ on the deck was a highlight, as well as the comfy living room.

The drive from the national park highway to the house is a bit more than 20 minutes and very, very winding.

Was hard to get to anything closer,the road was not pleasant to drive Patio was good,but a lot of wasps around,we couldn't eat outside,just a little care on the ceiling (cobwebs)

The house was well maintained and comfortable. The host provided some much appreciated essentials: several ways to make coffee, for example. The views were spectacular from the front porch. The place was as quiet as could be and very peaceful. One exception, a woodpecker decided to knock on the roof about 6am! Good wifi! There was only one restaurant near this place that was open, but we liked it and the owner/staff were really cool. Pinehurst Bar and Grill.

It is a bit isolated in this area near the park. You definitely want to make sure you have a full tank of gas and stop at a real supermarket before heading up to the cabin. We were only there for one night, so not a big deal, but if you were staying a few nights and cooking at home, you will need to bring enough supplies.

The nature style very cosy and lost in the middle of nowhere!

You cannot forget your gas for the car or any goods. The first shop is miles away, but that is the adventure!

This cabin is super cozy and impressively stocked with all essentials. We used it as a pit stop for our visit to Sequoia national Park but wished we had stayed longer. It felt like we were truly in the middle of nowhere. This place is off the beaten path and that's not an understatement. The path here is through a narrow dark country road and there is no cell service so make sure you have your offline maps downloaded as this may be very hard to find otherwise. Make sure to bring all the essentials because civilization is far far away

The driveway leading up to the cabin is a steep dirt path and our minivan bottomed out pulling up to it. Make sure your car is capable for the path up or you'll have to park downhill on the street

All the facilities you could ask for. So peaceful , you could just sit outside and hear all the birds. Just not the easiest place to find, especially in the dark

Excellent location to visit equoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. The house is very well maintained, spacious, and has two bathrooms.

The lights above the dining table are too bright.
