Saughy rigg farm

A gem just off the wall. A great evening meal and breakfast, comfortable bed and even a free lift back to the wall !

Sean & Sian are a great team. Lovely farm house 1m off HW track. They offered a pick-up from Twice Brewed Inn after eating. Then dropped back on HW track the next morning. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was all the options & plentiful. Thanks guys.

Taste of tap water having refilled my camel pak. If that's all...I can't really complain.

The owner was so lovely and kind, we ate over the other side of wall and when arrived he had already offered to go pick another couple up, he also dropped us back at the wall in the morning. Hands down the beat packed lunch we got- great sandwich and loads of treats, amazing value for money! This accommodation wasn't luxury but great value for money, shower and sleeping facilities were fabulous for exhausted walkers! The breakfast was pretty amazing too.

Was a little walk off the wall (we were walking along it) but the owner so kindly offered us lifts!

Very good breakfast and very nice hosts. Close to Hadrian's Wall.

Peeling and mildew on windows and shower, dirty floors and hall rugs. Insufficient light for reading or places to put suitcases. Hostel feel. Very dangerous road hilltop to get to it. Thought it was a working farm and it wasn't and was kind of junky outside.
