"Special and unique space with style and comfort in a beautiful area"

This was a very lovely space. As soon as I walked through the door I knew there was an experience to be had. After 4 months of traveling this is the most comfortable and at ease I’ve been. The hosts were kind and thoughtful down to the last detail. Stylish design, unique and cool lighting, fireplace that changes colors, cool eames style chairs, comfortable bed. Netflix, Max, Hulu pre logged in which is a nice convenience. Also generous with the Tesla charger. The unit is in a beautiful and safe area in San Rafael very close to downtown with fine dining and wine country nearby. San Francisco is just a 20 minute drive away. Highly recommended.

"Too much money for too much hi-tec plastic glitz…"

It was clean and quiet, centrally located for our purposes. The host was attentive and gracious and tried to make our stay as nice as possible.

The decor and lighting systems were a bit much. It took awhile to figure out the switches, motion sensors etc. Would much prefer basic on:off switches with the occasional dimmer switch. I couldn’t set a dim night light in the bathroom for nighttime peeing…it just blasted light with motion when you’re trying to stay half asleep. The last night, I woke at 3 am to strobe lighting in the bathroom and total lights on on the laundry closet which was in the bedroom. Very annoying and disconcerting to say the least. Everything was made of plastic…flooring, cabinets, uncomfortable furniture, strange wall art and light fixtures, curtains.
