"Great hiking from your door."

Modern suite in quiet residential area with lots of green space and hiking trail / fire road access. Relaxing and so many amenities: microwave fridge sink toaster coffeemaker kettle and coffee, wine, chocolate. Owners very responsive and provided lots of area specific information. Private space. Tesla destination charger.

This place is gorgeously decorated. It is completely over the top. The hostesses are unbelievably nice, going extra mile to forward places to explore and things to do in Marin County. I love the serenity and the view of the mountains.

The retreat is very easy to reach from Hwy 101 and convenient to San Rafael and environs. You need a car to get around. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The decor is clearly very well planned for the hosts. It was a little over the top for us but comfortable. Having access to a washer and dryer was great. As it was cold and rainy we couldn't take advantage of any nearby walking trails or outside spaces.

The kitchenette would be hard to do anything more than toast, cereal and coffee/tea or heat up leftovers from a restaurant. The driveway is rather steep but easy to do once you get used to it. Restaurants are a short drive away but would be hard to walk to.

"A perfect romantic place for two people. Clean and brand new."

The home was so bright and sunny with excellent decorating. If we wanted or needed anything at all, the owner responded to our request within 5 minutes. Cleanliness is important to us, and this was perfectly spotless. Since I have allergies, we loved the fact that there were no pets allowed. There is a little market down the way, Scotty's, that had everything we needed and there were several nice restaurants around the area. We will definitely stay there again!
