Around the Bend Bungalow

This property is in the country. The house was decorated in country style, which is my style. We had complimentary mimosa's. There were plenty of towels and the bathroom was very clean. The kitchen had every accessory you could think of. I live in the country and this was like being home. I will stay here again when I visit Fredricksburg.

The bungalow was very comfortable and well decorated and supplied. The night sky viewing was spectacular. We really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs and watching the night sky. I especially enjoyed visiting with the longhorn cattle nearby.

Can’t beat the peace and quiet and closeness to nature.

Meeting the owners and seeing their ranch was the best!!

This property was like being at home, but you’re in a beautiful setting and you can relax. There was deer and longhorn cattle that you could see from your bungalow. It was too cold to sit out on the beautiful porch to watch them. Everything you needed was there for you, from coffee choices to DVR about 25 titles. The location is perfect about 8 miles out of town, where you can see the stars ⭐️ at night and watch the sun come up in the morning. Jimmy and Janet were great hosts and we will be back again.—— when it is warmer.

We hit the proverbial jackpot when we selected Around the Bend Bungalow! the breathtaking ranch, the Texas whimsical bungalow, the longhorns and deer, the quietness, the stars at night (are big and bright) as is their superb 5 star rating for welcoming us with kindness & offerings of anything we needed!

It was beautiful!! The house and the surroundings were wonderful. There were longhorn steers all around and deer and bucks. It was truly an amazing and relaxing experience!!
