Around the Bend Bungalow

Everything, a wonderful experience. It was set on a 130 acre cattle ranch, a half mile off the road. Deer roaming the property, set in the hill country of Fredicksburg Tx. I highly recommend this place. We will return.

Very peaceful, lovely place, great location.

It was on a private gated ranch about nine minutes north of Fredericksburg. About 42 head of longhorn cattle and a small deer herd on the property with access to the area around bungalow! Very clean with a tennis/pickleball/basketball court about seventy feet from the bungalow. Price was very resonable, especially when compared to other similar rentals in the area. Very friendly hosts. Pet friendly as well.

Television was too small.

Very clean, spacious and perfect for star gazing. And amazing get away! Hosts were incredibly nice and thoughtful.

We had the most wonderful two days in this exceptional getaway. The scenery from the balcony was fantastic. The bungalow was equipped with all you could need. There were free drinks and snacks. Jimmy, the host, checked on us and gave us a wonderful tour of the farm and an introduction to their long-horn herd. I recommend the place highly.

Front doors and windows didn't have curtains. They have one-way laminated glass, though. We felt private all the same and enjoyed quiet nights.

Beautiful setting. Really enjoyed setting on their wonderful front porch grilling a steak having a beer and enjoying Texas!

We always like being able to go to the local grocery store, so we can make a couple of our own meals. We bought stuff for breakfast, and grilled our steaks on the provided grill! Wonderful! We were super excited our host, Janet, offered to take us out in her jeep to tour the property and give treats to the Longhorns!!

Beautiful and peaceful. Bungalow decorated nicely, bed was very comfortable, lots of little welcoming touches. We loved being able to see the longhorns on the property!
