Great house for a group of people in a beautiful location with nearby walks. Lovely and warm in the house, the Christmas decor was a nice touch.
Could do with a few bits in the kitchen like large bowls / measuring jug. Not all the pans seem to work on the hob. We located the chairs in the larder cupboard but it’s not a great dining experience around the kitchen island so not one to book if you are planning big meal as a group. Found about the underfloor heating in the kitchen upon return, would be good to have that in the welcome message as the kitchen was freezing.

Great location & space for us to get ready for attending a family wedding at Bolton Abbey. The Christmas decorations were a lovely addition to add to the ambience.

The property was beautiful , comfortable and great for 2 nights .
No dish washer , Not enough logs for the fire , no mirror in our bedroom. Kitchen was very cold .

Receipt of key code before booking not two days after. Receipt of check-in details on Wed 16th Oct the day before we came home on our home computer!! Lack of any dining facilities No table and only two seats in the kitchen.
