Fab location and amazing property! Perfect for a girls night away

This is an absolutely stunning house with a beautiful view. Perfect stay.

Set in beautiful surroundings, an amazing, well presented home, very comfortable & enough space for all. Lovely hot tub outdoors with plenty of parking. A little issue with electricity on arrival, but the amazing owner got it sorted immediately thank you. Our overall stay was AMAZING, sadly not long enough. The downstairs stairs shower flooding was really worried about it. A little noisy with road traffic at night they seem to speed down the road. A couple of 8 legged friends. 😱 Could do with a mirror on opposite side of the road for pulling out.

The photos don't do the house justice . From the outside to the in, it's stunning, very spacious and very clean. The hot tub was a lovely bonus and also the cows that came and said hello.

The Old School House was very spacious, very well presented, comfortable and had loads of parking. It was laid out in a way that is well suited to social gatherings and in a rural setting. Unfortunately, we weren't there long enough to take advantage of the hot tub but it did look extremely inviting.

The wet room floor didn't drain adequately and so remained wet throughout our stay. I used the upstairs bath and it seemed as though the water supply was affected by others that were using the wet room at the same time.

Beautiful property and very comfortable beds. It’s tastefully decorated throughout and the big bath is excellent - the living room is truly stunning. Only slight negative of note is that the blinds on the veluxs upstairs don’t work, but we had a great stay and would recommend it.

The whole place was spotlessly clean and very well presented / maintained. In the kitchen all the appliances, crockery, glasses and work surfaces were like brand new. The lounge was large and the settees very comfortable. The beds themselves were also very comfortable. The aspect from the patio area was amazing with clear view across the dale. Parking was plentiful.

There were no wardrobes or even a hanging rails in the 2 first floor bedrooms. The first floor bathroom only has a bath and would be better with its own shower cubicle as well. The ground floor bathroom was a wet room which wouldn't dry as there was no natural or affective mechanical ventilation to enable it to dry. There are 2 comfortable stools in the kitchen and I think 6 other stools which are too tall for the breakfast bar and very uncomfortable to sit on.

The Old School House is immaculate, very nicely presented and made an excellent weekend away stop for a special birthday! Breakfast outside with the stunning views and cows visiting was sublime. We all had a fabulous time, there was enough room for all of us to chill out and relax.

Sadly unlike the previous review, we were not left a bottle of fizz! The turning point to get into the driveway is a little sharp and could do with a mirror to see oncoming traffic. The wet room shower can get fairly slippery so do be careful!
