USThe building is lovely, the setting is magnificent, the hosts are friendly and helpful. I was in St Cloud to visit my nephew at the university, so the location was perfect. I enjoyed the river walk. The breakfast was minimal, but that was ok with me. Someone who wants a fancy, home cooked breakfast would be disappointed, but I enjoyed the oatmeal and a bagel and coffee.

USLocation is great. Historic grand old house right next to SCSU on a high bank overlooking the Mississippi River and an easy walk to downtown.
Shared bathroom with room next door could be a bit awkward for some. However, the room next door was not occupied during our stay. Definitely would stay at Brower House again.

USUSBreakfast was a very hearty continental breakfast. Our room was comfortable. The bathroom does need to be updated (it's on their list) but also could have been cleaner The dining room and living room were very spacious. The enclosed porch overlooked the Mississippi River and was super relaxing. We would stay here again. Remember the house is 101 years old and as our hosts say "a work in progress" will be fun to see each project completed
Our bathroom sink was pretty dirty. But the rest of the bedroom was clean
USThis charming old home along the Mississippi has a lot of character. The bed was very comfortable. The location on the college campus made it a very quite spot in the summer.
I thought waiting until 8 a.m. for coffee was asking too much of guests. Also, the place is overall very nice but it is still undergoing improvements and so don't expect a place that is in tip-top shape.
