Price was fair for being 4th of July weekend

The sheets in the downstairs bedroom weren't clean. The sheets had a funky smell. Therefore, I couldn't really sleep. After checking in, we left the property and when we came back, our cabin smelled like propane. I notified the property and they said to just go ahead and shut it off for our safety. They didn't even bother to send someone out to check. The unit next door also had issues with a water leak. The whole property is in much need of maintenance. The pictures on booking.com look a lot nicer than what it really is.

Some of the lights didn’t work so we couldn’t play cornhole when it got dark but it was fine!

It's not that I didn't like, maybe if you guys can put more grilling utensils. Thats all.

The property had lots of shade and fun things to do

Cabins are close to the lake, Marina and Hill Country which was nice.

The grounds were not well maintained, grass overgrowth around all units except for pool area and overflowinggarbage cans and some areas of the grounds littered. Parking and driveway for units near office were not conducive to loading/unloading by multiple vehicles...one way drive and no parking in front of units. The swimming pool did not have capacity to support the number of guests in rentals. This is a venue probably best suited for weddings, parties etc. The focal point of venue appears to be mostly on the event center which was really nice. Pictures/Website were somewhat misleading, however, the staff did go out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction to the best of their ability. We ended up staying only one night out of our two night reservation.
