The Claire Hotel

This was my second stay here.We had a small issue with the first cabin. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. I love how family oriented this place is.

How quiet it was

Smaller than I thought

It's was quiet in the daytime and we got to enjoy the pool .

Our first night was horrible .couldn't sleep because of people outside with there music full blast

The cabin was not clean, and not somewhere I would stay again.

The young lady that checked us in and out was absolutely wonderful! Very helpful, pleasant and friendly and appeared genuinely concerned that all our questions were answered. There couldn’t be a better contact person for the property. The location was scenic and the grounds were nice. There were many great features about the property. The room was clean and well maintained and parking was well planed.

I’ll preface this by saying this was a holiday weekend, prices were raised accordingly to the point of being overpriced. The room was small and laid out uncomfortably. For example, the air conditioner was directly over the lavatory blowing in my face and blocking the light when trying to shave. The Bathroom was tiny, toilet room was tiny and the tub area was difficult to even get in. The beds were extremely uncomfortable - certainly not commercial grade mattresses! They were small, of course they had to be since the room was so small. I don’t mean to dog the place, they we’re doing the best they could with what they had but please, get some new mattresses! Then, the hot water heater could not keep up with demand . . . Cold showers at 9:00 am on Sunday morning. TV & internet was sketchy, they did have a free DVD loaner library.

The proximity to the amphitheater. Didn’t meet anyone working there in person but they seemed nice through text messaging.

Difficulty finding the cabin in the dark. Needs signs. Only 2 bars of soap and no shampoo,hair conditioner. Tv could not be turned on at all . Quite noisy .
