Bed and Breakfast Happy Home Taupo Accommodation

Very simple room in a home which was fine but outrageously overpriced for what it is.

Nanette was a wonderful host. She met me when I arrived and showed me around, even giving me some delicious home made smoothie. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was fabulous! Would 100% recommend.

Nanette is so amazing, and staying here was truly like a dream. She made a terrific, hearty breakfast including fresh bread, eggs, coffee with all options of milk, and even offered vegetarian breakfast options to my vegetarian guest. She readily offered fruit from her fruit tree and fresh smoothies every day. She let us do our laundry for free, moved cars around when we struggled to back out, and offered recommendations for the city. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to everyone I know. Nanette is so sweet and kind, it's truly like staying with family.

Our room was a bit small (my fault for not reading the booking info carefully enough). Since the place was not fully booked, Nanette kindly let us keep our bags in another room to clear up space.

A lovely place to stay for a few nights whilst exploring beautiful Taupo and surrounding areas. Nanette and her family were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

Owers super helpful and welcoming couldn't have done more for us on our stay. Lovely rooms great bathrooms and use of a full kitchen. Great homemade breakfast. Nice swing chairs outside. All round great stay!

The home feeling with the privacy. Nanette makes it like you've gone to grandma's. Happy to help in anyway possible.
