The Orpen Kruger, Cork Tree Collection

Beautiful intimate property conveniently located next to the Kruger orpen gate and Manyeleti game reserve. The modern chalets and outside shower are to die for. The place is well kept.

Einfach wunderschön. Tolle Anlage, wunderschön eingerichtete Zimmer und super bequeme Betten. Sehr leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen. Super aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Perfekte Ausgangslage für Safari im Krüger und Manyeleti Park. Wir haben für beide Parks eine Safari gebucht und es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Wir würden das Orpen Kruger wieder buchen! Danke für die tolle Zeit.

I loved my stay at the lodge, nothing to complain about. I will definitely go back, the staff and the place was amazing.

The hot water in the was inconsistent, I believe it’s to do with the gas water heater.

We enjoyed that the property was so close to the Orpen gate of KNP while we were also given the option to go for a private game drive. Food was great while Veronica and her staff were so hospitable! Highly recommended!

Eine wunderbare Lodge mit äusserst hilfsbereitem und freundlichen Staff. Alles ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet, die Sauberkeit lässt keine Wünsche offen und das Essen ein Schmaus. Unser Ranger Louis machte mit seinem Wissen über Natur und Tiere den Aufenthalt perfekt.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt geliebt! Alles war sehr sauber, das Essen richtig lecker und auf individuelle Wünsche wurde ohne Zögern eingegangen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich freundliche Personal – wirklich beeindruckend! Auch die Game Drives waren wunderschön und lehrreich. Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming and met all our needs. The price is inclusive of breakfast and dinner, and all drinks at the bar! They were very attentive to details, for example packing us breakfast bags for the days we leave for the safari game drives and making sure we always had enough water. The dinner food was also AMAZING, probably was the best on our whole trip

Not the fault of the Orpen, but as expected there are a lot of bugs everywhere. The Orpen is pretty open and integrated into the outdoors so even while eating there were lot of bugs flying around and onto our plates. Additionally, I think it was done on purpose to have a camping style but there are no doors to the bathroom areas in each of the rooms, so it could be uncomfortable with family or friends

Amazing stay! We have been traveling throughout South Africa for several weeks and enjoyed many great accommodations. The Orpen Kruger was definitely exceptional! Why: - outstanding service with attention to detail (example: served breakfast at 6 am prepared by an entire team as we had to leave early) - Great game drives in Manyeleti (Our guide Louis had several decades of experience driving people around the reserve) - Family like atmosphere - main host Veronica is super warmhearted and looks after each guest individually with compassion. So does the entire team Enjoyed every second! Remarkable experience!🙏
