Eileen’s Cottage

Situation tout à fait exceptionnelle dans le Donegal dans un environnement magnifique ; la maison est très conçue avec des chambres bien réparties et des salles de bains et toilettes en conséquence ; petit commerce dans le village qui permet de subvenir sans problème à nos besoins . Les ballades en voiture vers les plages et les routes vers Ardara sont vraiment très belles.

Peaceful location .Great place to unwind . House had everything you need for a comfortable stay . We only stayed 2 nights but would happily book again in the future for a longer stay . Majella was really helpful . We were unsure of how to get to the house but a quick phone call from the local pub and she came out to show us the way . Also organised a taxi for a takeaway .

Loved the quiet location, very peaceful and great views. Close to the beach too which was nice and quiet

Everything. Size is perfect , location is perfect ,host was perfect, loved it so much. Everything supplied you need . Host has definitely gone above and beyond .

Great country cottage in rural Donegal! Wonderful views of the countryside from every window of this charming cottage. Quiet and peaceful with no sound but the sheep. We found it spacious and comfortable for our party of 3. Good central heating system and a wood burning fireplace in the den. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes and cookware. Lots of sheep! We loved it!

Water pressure was low. Very rural so bring enough supplies! The beds were a bit uncomfortable for a couple of our party. Watch your head when bending over the stove it's easy to bang your head on the exhaust hood! Other than that, it was exactly what we were looking for!

Lovely comfortable clean cottage in a beautiful place. Very well equipped. Very peaceful with just the sheep for company! Large wood/peat burner which is great on a wet, misty evening. Cottage is cosy and warm. Lovely place to stay.

Cottage is a bit remote and we found it hard to find as phone signal and satnav kept dropping out - mountains all round - but a phone call to Majella soon got us sorted as she kindly sent her brother out to us and he led us to the cottage and once we had our bearings, we were fine for the rest of our stay. Be aware that on Google maps, when putting in Eileen's Cottage, it keeps changing destination to Ellen's Cottage in a different place!

Excellent location. Its a hidden gem surrounded by mountains. If you arrive after sunset, don't be scared, you will love the sunrise and morning time. All rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Enough utensils were available in the kitchen.

Beds were little uncomfortable but manageable since someone would sleep only for a couple of nights. Less water pressure in the electric shower in the bathroom with bathtub.
