Cottage close to French Quarters

The cottage was very clean and much more spacious than I expected. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future. I come to New Orleans yearly and have had some terrible accommodations this was by far one of the best.

Ok place but I'm not sure I would stay there again. Owner was nice and proactive when I needed something but there were critical flaws that hopefully will be fixed.

Location and price were good, it was clean other wise except found a few spiders.

Bed was not okay like not put together right nor comfortable, stove was dirty had black stuff on it,

First of all, this review isn't FOR the cottage, even though that is what I booked. We were instead put in unit 3 of the house in front of the cottage. Layout was the same, so no biggie, but the privacy and quiet were not what we paid for. The house location was very nice, as we were pretty close to the french quarter, and right off Frenchman street. It was clean. definitely walking distance - we didnt use our car once. Everything worked fine (ac, fridge, etc).

We were given 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6.5 days. We did not get the property I booked. When I called and questioned this, I was told it was fine as it was the same layout, BUT the cottage (that I booked) would have been quiet, and the unit we had was right behind a couple with a baby that screamed through the night. Marcus told us the reason we didn't get the cottage was maintenance issues, BUT another couple showed up the stay in the cottage the next day (he booked in January he said through airbnb and we booked in October through booking.com - I think the property was double booked - we should have gotten priority since we booked first). Anyway, if you look at his property pics, this review is actually for the unit with the horseprint chair.
