Very olde world with wooden beams etc

Needed some tlc in the bathroom . Breakfast underwhelming but evening meal fabulous

Great food and great location.

Bathroom tap wouldn’t turn off.

Quaint pub , nice features food excellent

Cleaning and decorating of rooms , need full overall

Plenty of parking and the staff were fab

Room could be cleaner, lots of cobwebs and a little tired

I was put in a room with the entrance door in a very tight recess, the door could only have been 5 foot high then with at least a 12 inch step down onto another floor level. I lost count of how many times I banged my head on the short one night visit that I was there, which was more than enough. It wasn’t clean. The bathroom was full of insects and cobwebs around the sink area. Tea making facilities were dirty with tea stains in the cups, and a pubic hair was found on top of the kettle handle recess. The shower attachment on the bath for a shower leaked, and I couldn’t get temperature control, as it was either too hot or too cold. The bed linen looked and felt clean and fresh, and I did get a good night sleep. I did have a meal in the restaurant, which was very greasy with burnt vegetables. I am not one to complain, but on this occasion, I really wish I had!
