"A beautiful place to stay"

So luxurious and at least double the size advertised. Everything was beautifully clean and so well presented. A lovely quiet place to stay. Claire could not have been more welcoming.

It’s so much bigger than the pictures and it’s so gorgeous! So much charm and the surroundings are beautiful. The owners are wonderful and so is their lovely dog. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend - thank you!

Lovely quiet country location a couple of miles outside Romsey with good pubs nearby. Romsey nearby has a market town vibe with a superb Waitrose and enough little shops and eateries to provide everything needed for a short break without having to leave the area. There is also a beautiful Abbey right in the middle of town which is definitely worth visiting. Should you want to explore further afield the M27 motorway is convenient to use to go either west towards The New Forest or East to the city of Southampton with its shopping and nightlife or to Portsmouth with all the naval heritage attractions.

Nothing to dislike for us!

Refurbished barn, with 400-year-old oak beams and a modern kitchen (including a washing machine, hooray!) and under-floor heating. Very quiet, very comfortable, and a great place for an extended stay if you have time.

Der Barn ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man so für ein paar Tage self-catering braucht. Das Auto kann man direkt vor der Türe parken. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ergaben sich nette Gespräche. Die Betten sind sehr gut. Und die Nächte sind sehr ruhig. Man ist eben auf dem Dorf.

Die Lichtverhältnisse sind unser kleiner Kritikpunkt; es gibt eine einzige gute Leselampe im Wohnzimmer; sonst bleibt es relativ dunkel, zum Lesen etwas schwierig.
