Location.

There was a leak onto my bed in the early hours of the morning. Water came from the light fixture, which is obviously dangerous. The flat roof showed very obvious signs of neglect, and the property was generally kept to an extremely poor standard. It was freezing and there was a stench of damp in the ensuite. The 2 radiators we could locate showed error warnings, and constantly turned themselves on and off. One of the towels was so threadbare I accidentally put my had through it. There was lipstick on the glassware. They provided jam but no toilet paper?? There were food waste stains on the bin and the wall beside it. Every single wall or surface was marked or damaged. Some of the remotes had no batteries. We couldn't even check in at the agreed time because the place wasn't ready. They use a third party customer service call centre in the Philippines so literally nobody cares about any of the issues, and it shows that nobody cares about this property at all. It's literally given the most basic clean each time someone checks out, and that's it. The leaking water from the roof not only meant I got no sleep, but it was and is a legitimate safety issue for water to be coming from an electrical socket. Nobody even asked me if I was ok or apologised. Oh and this is all without mentioning how loud the pub behind is. You will not sleep because of the noise.

The location was excellent. So accessible to centre of Galway.

Definately recommend full length mirrors in all rooms especially if a group is sharing and want to get ready. Very noisy unfortunately probably can't be helped. Street cleaners were out early & with windows are not sound proof.
