We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view is beautiful, and the place is very calm and relaxing — we even ended up staying longer than planned! Mark and his wife gave us a very warm welcome and provided great advice for visits, transport, and other activities, which made our stay even better. They have great local connections and also recommended activities for our next destination, which was really helpful. The breakfasts are good, and the pool is very pleasant. Everything is there to ensure a truly enjoyable and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place.

L’emplacement est parfait. La plage et les restaurants à proximité. Les chambres sont spacieuses et le personnel très gentil et souriant

The hosts, Mark and Inaya, along with their three girls, were fantastic! We were impressed with their hospitality, friendship, and help with all our questions. If not them, our trip to Bali would not be so exciting, as they helped us to plan our trip, find and connect with people who could take us on an adventure, and recommend great local food and places, as well as plan a bit for our next trip. The days in Bali became much brighter with Mark and Inaya. The bed was very, very good, and the shower was good as well!

There is nothing we did not like. And here I always leave this comment for the places I stay (this is just me): "As a traveller my preferences is good firm bed, good shower, good amount of bench spaces and hooks around to sort my stuff, luggages, and usually, most of the places just don't have things like that, not sure how many people living out of they luggages and how many actually using the wardrobes provided."

Balty Bali was the highlight of my holiday. The room was so clean, tastefully decorated and included many thoughtful touches (towel rack/umbrella/torch/water/non-slip tiles in the wet areas & stairs), fab view. Mark & Inayah and their wonderful team were warm, helpful & generous with their time & knowledge. My morning hike with Mark (a born storyteller) was a treat. This place is a rare gem & I’m so grateful that I got to enjoy their hospitality. The drive to the airport was another brilliant day taking in interesting detours & waterfall adventures. In all my travels, Balty Bali is an absolute standout.

* Has quite a local vibe. Two-tree story houses on the mountain slope. Amazing mornings and breakfast on the balcony with the view of the local houses and ocean. * Very clean and comfy, proper fridge in the room, drinking water * Comfortable bed, sheets, temperature etc * Place is run by a very friendly family, they accommodated all our asks during the stay and drove us back to Denpasar. Made our stay and journey back sort of a private tour into the local culture, showing us around and sharing local context. Very much enjoyed.

It's slightly dark there in the evenings, but perhaps that applies for most of Amed.

Everything was perfect. The staff was professional, friendly, super helpful. The location couldn't have been better, everything you could want less than a 5 minute walk, from snorkeling, fine dining, coffee shops, convenience stores, etc.. Hidden gem with super friendly neighbors. They picked us up at airport and gave guided tour all the way back to the villa, then upon leaving took us to our next destination. They have motorbikes, snorkeling gear, wifi and great breakfast. Nothing like waking up and drinking coffee in your private pool 20 feet from your room.

Leaving, next time will be extended stay. They have many returning guests which speaks volumes.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spotless (no mold smell, clean all around). The pool and outside area were tidy and clean. Kitchen amenities were in good condition. The staff were lovely and helpful (getting laundry done, accommodating dietary restrictions for breakfast). A super close walk to fabulous snorkelling at the nearby beach!!
