Decor clean, modern and stylish. Cosy. Convenient location for walking and beaches. Opposite nice pub and near fish and chip shop.

I chose this cottage based on the fact that I saw a wood burner in the photos. After booking I was told the wood burner could not be used between May and September. Whilst the weather was very hot and I would not have needed to use the stove, it was still disappointing to be told not to use the wood burner. Also, I chose this property as it allowed pets. When I arrived I read in the welcome book that dogs were not permitted upstairs. I think this should have been made clear before booking.

The house was very spacious, it was clean throughout, the bed was extremely comfy,the whole decor suited the property, the kitchen facilities provided were what we needed, the pub was less than a minute walk away ,😂the common is only a 10 minute walk away, perfect for the dogs first thing on a morning. The beach is only 30 minutes away at Wells,well worth a visit, wroxham is 50 minutes away with plenty of walks to take the dogs on.the villagers made you feel very welcome and the staff in Mr chippy and the bull Inn were very friendly,well worth a visit.

The road outside the bedroom becomes busy from 6 o clock onwards and I'm a light sleeper so I was woken daily but this can't be helped, the lay-by where you park the car can get filled but again luckily I was always able to park there,

Newly refurbished and new double glazed sash windows. Heating system works very well and quickly.

Having key access to the front door opposite the pub would be very helpful. The shared side return area does not have lighting and no lighting on the back gate to access the small courtyard and kitchen door. A motion sensor light on the wall by the gate would be great help.

Very hard to find fault, minor adjustments I would make would be better highlighting of the steps from kitchen into the lounge and before back door. Would have also been nice to have had some essentials on arrival such as milk.

The cottage is very clean and tidy, has spacious rooms, is equipped with everything you need for a short stay and is located in the centre of the village. It is no more than a few minutes walk to the amenities and the common was lovely for dog walks. I would recommend to friends and would stay again.

It’s difficult to find any fault but the only small thing was that parking when I arrived on Friday was an issue (I parked near the coach company) so I had to unload the dog bed and bags over multiple trips. However, I was able to move the car nearer on Saturday morning so it was a minor inconvenience.

House is clean and tidy and well decorated

Yale lock front door can't be opened from outside as keys not correct ones. Yale lock back door can be opened if not useing dead lock
