The place was perfect. Clean, equipped and in great location. The host Marcos helped me with a parking place and even extra storage for my stuff while I was away for a few days after the booking ended. Exceptional service!

The entire experience with the accommodation / host was perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here - good location / perfect dimension flat / well equipped. The communication with Marcos was spotless.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday at Blue Sky. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything we needed for our hiking and sightseeing trip. The Kitchen is fabulous and very well equipped, as we like to cook as well as eat out. The bathroom is also great and the option of a bath after walking is quite a luxury these days it seems. Marcos is quite honestly a perfect host, and provides loads of usual tips on both the island and places to eat. A highlight for us is the balcony here. We spent a number of lovely evenings playing cards and games (some provided) and the ambiance of the solar lanterns and plants led to a relaxing end to our active days. The situation is perfect for us (we have been to Madeira 8 times so know the Island well). In our opinion this is the sweet spot between access to the old town (10 min walk) and yet fairy quiet too. It also has good access to both Pingo Dolce and Continente supermarkets for provisions. The option of car hire and parking space in the building's carpark, we found to be an excellent solution for our needs. We have booked another 2 weeks for next year. Guess this says everything really. Highly recommended in our view.

A couple of people have mentioned noise from the road. For us at least, the truth is that yes there is some road noise during the morning rush especially, but personally we never found this interfered with our sleep, and I am a light sleeper. We found that by keeping the bedroom window closed at night we slept well. During the night and evenings the road quietens down considerable and the balcony faces the other way. We found it quiet and relaxing in the evenings. Like I said earlier we believe this is the sweet spot for Funchal in terms of access to wonderful eating places, the main sites and the old town, and yet is well located to be away from most of the hustle and bustle of the city. It's also worth saying that Marcos provides a mobile air con unit which we found works very well on the more humid days. All in all, at least for our needs, we believe this to be a great choice for Madeira.

Conveniently located and spacious apartment with a large sunny balcony, perfect for relaxing. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. The friendly host was extremely welcoming and gave us some good recommendations for our holiday. We will certainly stay in the apartment again when we return.

Everything was great and there was nothing that we didn't like or found an issue with.

The host was super welcoming and available for any questions we had! The Appartment is located close to the city center and is fully equipped with everything you need. They put a lot of effort into the small details like leaving a trolley for the groceries, a full body mirror and so on!

the apartment is very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. very spacious bathroom, fantastic sunny balcony with sun from early morning till 5pm. the internet worked very well, TV has a broad range of channels in different languages. Marcos is a very attentive host. I used transfer offer from and to the airport. I spent 10 wonderful days in this apartment and can highly recommend this place.
