Great location walking distance to town and close to many hikes. Very comfortable and clean and amazing breakfast.

Beautiful building inside and outside.

Large comfortable room with a window seat and view of the mountains. Within walking distance of restaurants, pub and shops. Cathy was friendly, hospitable and cooked us breakfast each morning.

Our room was comfortable, clean, spacious and quiet. The hosts, Cathy and Allan were so welcoming and friendly that they felt like old friends - thanks for the lovely chats Cathy. Our breakfast baskets were just perfect with foods we enjoy for breakfast. Schoolhouse Ballater was perfect in every way.

Location was good, easy walk to town. Room had everything we needed and the breakfast was enjoyable.

We were made very welcome. Kathy was a lovely lady who took time to talk with us. Breakfasts were beyong our expectations. All in all excellent place to stay highly recommended.

Beautiful well equipped comfy room we particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio area. Wonderful host and delicious breakfast provided , parking was also ample and never a problem. Thank you for our lovely stay !

Very welcoming, quirky BnB. Cathy and Alan very helpful, very homely environment. Room and facilities excellent, lovely breakfasts, house very conveiniently located for river, shops and village. Would definately recommend, we will be back.
