The place is wonderful and staff is helpful. The room is clean and the food is good.

AC doesnt work properly and bathroom is very smelly

We had a really great stay at Bob’s Surf Camp / Lance’s Left Surf Camp. The location is honestly 10/10 — directly next to a beautiful beach break with an amazing tropical setting. The main wave is probably not ideal for complete beginners, especially because there can be a fairly strong current close to the reef, but there is also a more beginner-friendly surf spot near the bridge on the other side of the beach. The breakfast was simple but absolutely sufficient and good. The two ladies working there were always kind and helpful. They were not extremely proactive, but whenever we needed something, they were always ready to help immediately. The bungalow itself was beautiful. The air conditioning worked very well, and the beds were comfortable, which made sleeping easy even in the tropical heat. It is also possible to rent a surf scooter with a surfboard rack directly there for a very fair price of around 100,000 IDR per day, which makes exploring the area and checking different surf spots very convenient. There are currently no surfboards for rent and no surf lessons offered directly by the surf camp. However, we can highly recommend renting boards at the surf shop in Katiet, where you can get very fair prices of around 200,000 IDR per day if you rent for multiple days. The only real downside for us was the bathroom. Unfortunately, it tended to smell quite bad rather quickly, and during a longer stay there was no regular cleaning planned by default. However, after we asked, they very kindly cleaned the bathroom for us. Overall, this place offers extremely good value for money. It is not luxury, but it does what it is supposed to do very well for the price you pay. We would definitely come back

It was the most beautiful and remote place we have ever stayed. The whole bay is yours and you cannot see another hotel or complex in site. Had the most relaxing three days ever

Es gibt keine bessere Lage als direkt am Beach Break. Die Atmosphäre ist wirklich unschlagbar und das Personal sehr nett.

Certains bungalows sont moins confortables que d'autres, les salles de bains sont sommaires. Parfois un filet d'eau pour la douche... La clim insuffisante. La carte des repas est limitée

TRAUMHAFTE Lage direkt am Meer. Man hat wirklich ein "einsame Insel"-Gefühl, und zwar im absolut positiven Sinne!! Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, leckeres Essen und die beiden Mädels, welche vor Ort arbeiten sind auch immer für einen da. Wirklich eine unfassbar tolle Zeit gehabt!!! :) Und auch darüber hinaus gibt es vor Ort mit dem Scooter (ca. 5€ pro Tag) noch sooo viele tolle Strände zu erkunden! Einfach Wahnsinn :)

Wirklich nur eine absolute Mini-Mini-Kleinigkeit: Es wäre toll, wenn man bei der Ankunft auch wirklich "empfangen" wird. Uns wurde zwar kurz das Zimmer gezeigt, aber ein paar Infos, wie es vor Ort mit Essen etc. läuft, wäre super. Man bekommt es zwar durch die anderen Gäste dann mit, aber so ein kleines Welcome/Check-In-Gespräch wäre glaub ich echt cool... Aber nochmal: Das hat dem Aufenthalt absolut keinen Abbruch getan... es war traumhaft!!!
