The Burcott Inn Cottages

Absolutely beautiful location. Gorgeous little cottage. We went for my partners birthday . Very clean & tidy and well equipped. Location is great to travel to other local places. Good parking space & very comfy bed.

everything was brilliant

neat little Cottage close to the village pubs and the city of Wells. Average equipment with some tired features although this didn’t diminish the overall experience. listening to the owls at night. it was peaceful despite being so close to the Inn. not sure that it would be the same in the summer months, especially if hot as you’d need windows open and the garden would be popular, just guessing mind!

took a while to get used to the door lock and manage the heating controls.never did work out how to use the DVD player!

Lovely clean place to stay. The owners are very welcoming. We liked the privacy and the food at the inn was exceptional!

The shower was very slow

Great value for money, very clean and comfortable and very friendly owners. Nice having the pub right there, very friendly atmosphere.

DVD player not working

A very comfortable accommodation for one person; plenty of space in the sitting area and a nice sized bedroom with an ample wardrobe and drawer space for unpacking one's clothes. Parking was very easy and accessible; reachable without needing single-track lanes. Hosts accommodated a later arrival with no issues. Heaters work well and are fully at the guest's control. Kitchen is small but fully functional. Easy access to Wells, the Mendips, Glastonbury, the Levels, really an ideal location for exploring that area. And dinner at the pub next door was excellent.

Some of the cookware was past its prime, so I contributed a new frying pan. Counter space in kitchen is extremely tight! A couple of shelves in the bathroom would be really helpful, and a wall-mounted soap dish in the shower.

Wonderful accommodation, spotlessly clean. Really comfortable. The hosts are sweet people. A great pub. And Barry the doggie is such fun. We absolutely loved it in every way.
