The Burcott Inn Cottages

The cottage is in a nice quiet location. Plenty of parking.

On first entering the cottage on the surface, it seemed OK.well equipped . The furnishings were very shabby, and the whole place needed a deep clean dust and cobwebs in every room. Bathroom shower waste was disgusting. Also, the extractor fan in the kitchen was very dirty.skirting boards black with dust and dirt . The whole place needs a coat of paint walls and doors. Too say we were disappointed is an understatement. As reviews lead us to believe this property was in good clean order. We did stay our booked 4 nights, but only because we had already paid.needless to say we won't be returning and would never recommend it.

The staff in the pub were lovely and friendly The food was very good as we ate there as soon as we arrived Barry the boxer dog was wonderful and came and visited in the morning

The property was very tired and disappointing after the pub The bathroom was in need of a deep clean with mould on the grouting and a dirty shower drain and a shower curtain that needed replacing Cobwebs in all the rooms Facilities very basic and tired Tatty faded blinds and an uncomfortable sofa We expected basic but decided not to stay for a second night as just didn’t feel very comfortable to be honest

We loved the property. It had everything we needed for our trip away. The location was perfect for what we wanted too. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Es gibt nichts was nicht gefallen hat. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Anwesen ist sauber und sehr schön. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft und es ist sehr still. Absolute Empfehlung.

It was very clean and tidy.

Very small just about large enough for 2 adults

We found everything about the stay and the property was exceptional. Also the hosts were wonderful and very friendly. The setting is in peaceful and beautiful countryside.

There was nothing we didn't like.

A perfect little cottage for 2. Clean and well equipped with a comfy seating area, this made a great base. The kitchenette was on the small side but had a kettle, fridge/freezer, a 2 ring hob, microwave/grill and a coffee maker. I wouldn't want to make a full meal here but why bother when you're on your holidays. The pub is closed part of the week but a 5 minute walk into the village brings you to a lovely pub which serves excellent meals.

The only observation is that it is a little on the small side but it's perfectly adequate and comfy
