The Burcott Inn Cottages

Very nice, excellent location for wookey hole, wells, bath. Excellent service from the owners and staff within the burcott inn public hours, definitely recommend this location.

Pillows were like pancakes, but a very relaxing comfortable bed,

stunning location on the edge of Wookey village,the cottage was excellant and more than we expected and was very comfortable with everything we needed and more. our hosts were very welcoming and the Burcott Inn was very close and the food great and reasonably priced.parking was in front of the cottage. Great location a couple of minutes drive from Wells and close to Glastonbury and Wookey Hole.

Really good value property in a good location, peaceful surroundings and not far from Wellls etc

Access to Wells and surrounding areas was quite good. Our host (George) was very nice, access to the pub next door was a plus.

Property was smaller than we had anticipated and space was tight -- as we were travelling for quite some time we had a lot of luggage with us to manoeuvre around. Bed and bedroom was quite small (fortunately we had our own pillows). Description of property on site was deceiving - could not class this as "one bedroom house" - motel unit at best.

The area

We arrived later than we anticpated and were worried we had missed the close of time for dinner at the pub attached the cottage we stayed in, but the hosts let us order our food whilst we were given our key and quickly dropped our stuff, and returned to the resturant area of the pub, after being greeted back into the pub by Barry the Boxer dog! The food was lovely and afterwards we were able to get a good sleep in the cottage. We woke up refreshed and saw what the cottage had to offer which was perfect for our little weekend getaway. If we had any questions we felt we could ask the hosts who always gave us good answers and were interested in what we were getting up too and how we were enjoying the stay.

The shower head holder was a little bit broken but still held it in a good position for a hot shower, and the shower floor area also got very wet where we needed to put some towels down to absorb, but a wet mop was provided to push the water back which helped greatly. To lock the front door you had to giggle around with the door and keyhole a bit too lock properly which was slightly annoying.
