LAKE HOUSE CANZO

It was difficult to manouver a large car into the courtyard and out of the gate to park. Got a few new scratches.

The apartment was cosy, the terrace was really nice.

The fridge’s size is ridiculous, especially considering you can rent the apartment for up to 4 people. Don’t think about coming with a large car, the gate width is really tiny and the streets to reach the apartment too. No bottle opener, which seems a detail but you want to be able to have a drink when on holiday :) And the person renting was quite rude, I asked for the WIFI info but never received any answer (found it myself but it wasn’t working), they however sent me texts asking for our IDs without even saying hello or please.

The price is good.

There was no private parking. There was no soap in washroom.

The only good thing about this place is the huge private terrace. The interior is also quite nice. Shower gel and shampoo were left for use.

1. A tourist's worst nightmare, entering this place. Narrow streets, you can pass through the courtyard gate only with folded mirrors. Very small yard, it is impossible to turn around with a car! (Skoda superb). 2. Irresponsible hosts. We didn't get a keybox code, no instructions on how to get into the place, until we went to ask for a refund. Speaks only Italian and very vaguely. Can't make a call. Hard to communicate… 3. Mini Fridge and very small litter box for a family of 4 who arrived with bags full of food and eats at home :) Also not enough tools, dishes, pots, etc. 4. Very poor WIFI, impossible to use. 5. You can hear every word of the neighbors, so you also need to speak quietly. 6. Not a big deal, but Christmas decorations in summer? Cmon 🤣

The inside was clean and nice

Very bad wifi, it was hard to acces and it was far from the lake, although there are lake pictures in the description

It is located only 30 minute away from Bellagio Beach.

Internet and A/C did not work.

The only good thing in the apartment was the bathroom.

There wasn’t air contidioner even tho they said it would be there, the Wi-Fi wasn’t good and they said it works very good and fast it also disconnected after 2 min and we had to turn it on over and over, the towels had a unpleasant smell, the parking wasn’t near apartment. - portable air conditioner ( that was not functional and was blowing fuses).

This was the worst booking experience I've had in my life. This is a major scam! I had paid for the reservation in full at the time of booking. We never received a check-in code from the owners. So I contacted them to get it. They didn't respond. I tried calling 4 times. Nothing. So I then texted, emailed. Still nothing. We had driven 8+ hours to get there. By the time we finally got there, the owners finally texted me after my 4th attempt to call. They sent a short text that simply said, " We canceled your reservation." There was no apology. No explanation. Absolutley no prior communication about the cancelation. . I asked why and how they canceled it. The owner simply said, "Call Booking. They'll reimburse you." That's it! No offer to make it right. No explanation. No apology. Just the worst customer disservice ever. So we were left scrambling to find last minute accommodations in the Northern Italy/Lakes area... In August.... On a weekend. Literally nothing was available in the area. We had to go to Milan to find any accommodations, and now at a much higher price. Literally our entire trip was ruined. We no longer could fit in the entire purpose of our trip to the lakes now that we had to move our accommodations. If you don't care about paying for your stay only to be ignored by your host and left out in the streets, this is definitely the place for you!
