Some of the decor in the room was a little 'tired'
GBBreakfast was excellent, top quality ingredients used. A lot of thought and attention has gone into this offering and Its worth staying just for the Black Pudding alone

GBThe Postgate Inn is characterful and charming. It has a lovely seating area outside with a fantastic display of flowers and quirky features. The staff and locals were so friendly and welcoming. We felt very relaxed. The breakfast was beautifully presented and very tasty! The restaurant food was first class too!

The food was fine but vastly overpriced. For £25-35 per main course, we would expect significantly better quality meals. We had planned to eat there all 3 nights but after the first night we went elsewhere. Breakfast was nice but a bit limited - you need to request any milk alternatives before arrival.
