Rooms were very dated no pictures of them on line, the shower on off button fell out when using the shower had trouble tuning it off there was mould on the inside of the windows
GBFab little hotel in Egton Bridge. Busy, busy place. The food was top-notch - none of your pub grub here. Tip: if you're planning on a visit to Whitby, use the park and ride... works out a lot cheaper than finding a car park in the town. All the staff were super-friendly, as were some of the locals.
The mattress on the bed was a bit like sleeping on a water bed - not very comfy! The room servicing could be greatly improved - our room was serviced only on one day of the 5 we were there. Had to ask for more tea/coffee sachets. We did let the barman know.

GBLovely location. Beer excellent. Meals excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel welcome. Mint chocs in the room were an added surprise.
The delay in taking meal orders resulted in quite a lengthy wait before meals were served. The meals however were delicious.
