GBthe food is excellent quality well cooked and presented. all the staff were welcoming friendly and professional. the room was very comfortable with a good sized en-suite. parking at the property was easy accessed and always a space for my car.

GBGBBreakfast was good, although tbe dining room was cold and needed a coat to eat comfortably. Evening meals were quality but pricey. Could gave more some pub type alternatives
The bathroom lacked ventilation. The wall sockets in the bedroom were not secure to the wall. Decor was a bit scruffy and outdated. The room Was not cleaned and therefore the towels were not changed either. We were the only guests so this should not have been overlooke.
GBThe greatest thing about the postgate inn is the staff they were friendly, attentive and eager to please right from the managers,the bar maids, room maids, and chefs. The atmoshpere in the bar resturant was great warm and friendly. Its a traditional cosy bar The food was very good we had a lovely cooked breakfast each morning. We had evening meal at the resturant bar one night and it was lovely. The bedroom was clean,warm and a very comfortable king sized bed.
The inn is an old building and could be updated hopefully not to change the character of the old building. But the important thing was it was comfortable,warm ,clean and friendly

Thank you again, Mark, for taking time out of your busy day to drive us to Grosmont for our trip on The Flying Scotsman and for picking us up afterwards. Excellent food each evening and a cracking breakfast to start each day.

Virtually nothing, if being very picky grouting in bathroom could have been tidier. I would willingly stay here again and would recommend to friends and family
