Charming, friendly and efficient staff.

Could find no fault during too, too short a stay.

Excellent location close to port and bus station, easy walk to the old town. Very welcoming hosts, offered to store bags until our bus left.Good shower. Lovely breakfast area and courtyard.

I had a great stay at Le Vrero. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a fridge where you can store some food. The bathroom was good, great water pressure and soft towels. The bed was also comfortable. There is a ceiling fan and an AC. The AC had a bit of trouble cooling the room but in combination with the ceiling fan I managed to get a good night's sleep. The road outside is a rather quiet road. The staff is attentive and helpful.

The AC had trouble cooling the room. Another downside was the doors and keys. The keys are a bit outdated and can easily be replaced to more modern and easier to handle keys. However, the keys give the place it's charm.

It is a very charming small boutique hotel. We were treated very well. Nazareno and Victoria were lovely, and they even gave us chocolate Easter eggs on Easter Sunday.

The accommodation is just around the corner of the Harbour ( in case you travel from/ to Buenos Aires) and can be reached in 5min by foot. Old town is also close by and walkable. Super friendly staff, laid back atmosphere and delicious breakfast included.

Nazareno was an exceptional host and was tremendously helpful with information on Colonia and how to navigate wonderful Colonia. The location was within walking distance of the ferry from Buenos Aires. Our room was wonderful- very clean, nice bathroom and shower and a patio. Breakfast included lots of choices. The historic area of Colonia was within about 10 minutes walking. We had greet conversations with Nazareno about Uruguay, the stability of this interesting country. He has a great sense of humor and speaks excellent English which he learned watching English TV shows while in Japan. If you want to know anything about Uruguay football teams, this former futbol player is your expert. We highly recommend Posad Boutique Le Vrero!

Everything was great. Recommend you have a working SIM card for Uruguay to get Google maps BEFORE you get off the ferry in dark like us. We got lost a bit but it all worked out well!!
