Lion Gate Hotel Sigiriya

Great location if climbing the rock - 10 min drive away. New rooms and staff really went above and beyond.

There was some teething issues with the new rooms. It wasnt very prepared for rain and small things like the bathroom doors didnt shut properly. Also there were quite a few flies at breakfast. We understand that it’s all being fixed at the moment so will definitely recommend you booking it!

Het lieve personeel, de uitgebreide ontbijtjes, het heerlijke zwembad en de ruime kamer. De locatie is ook fijn! In de straat zitten al verschillende eetgelegenheden en je kunt met de tuktuk gemakkelijk naar een wat drukker deel.

The place was impeccable! The host Mr Bernard and his staff were most welcoming and made our stay truely lovely.

El hotel es muy bonito, limpio y está muy bien cuidado. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas, y la zona de la piscina es realmente agradable. Lo que hace especial este lugar es el personal: todos son increíblemente amables, educados, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar, sobretodo el manager Bernat. De verdad se nota que se preocupan por sus huéspedes. También queremos recomendar especialmente al conductor organizado por el hotel, Mana, que nos recogió en el aeropuerto y nos ayudó durante toda nuestra estancia. Muy amable, fiable y profesional. ¡100% recomendable!

昼食と夕食を１回食べましたが、どちらも美味しかったです。設備も清潔で全く問題ありませんでした。ランドリーの依頼にも早急に対応してくれてスタッフの対応が皆よかったです。

シギリヤロックへ歩いていくには少し遠いのでトゥクトゥク等が必要です。梅雨時期もありスコールで何回か停電していましたが地域的なことで仕方ないかと思います。

Heerlijk hotel met een mooie setup. Het is er rustig, schoon en gemoedelijk. Je kunt er heerlijk eten en ook het ontbijt wat je ‘s ochtends krijgt is goed! De medewerkers onderkoeling van Bernard staan de hele dag voor je klaar als je vragen hebt en helpen graag. Heerlijk ontspannen genieten in Sigiriya! We hebben 1 tip, ventilator in het restaurant om vliegen in de ochtend weg te houden. Het verblijf is perfect schoon maar helaas vliegen horen bij Sri Lanka!
