Lake Lodge Motel Rotorua

Era sporco, tappeto un vero schifo. Bagno e vetri non puliti da anni. La tenda dell’accesso alla camera non oscurava abbastanza.

Liked the superb location at the lakefront right oppposite the playground; we booked for that reason and also because they offered family rooms (we booked a one-bedroom apartment with a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed). Room was well cleaned, bed was comfortable although the sofa bed was a little bit hard. Bathroom was spacious and had good shower pressure. Staff at check in was very friendly and helpful and guided us on how to operate the guest laundry.

Tv reception not good, signal went off at times. Lighting in the room could be better. Could hear street noise outside, if you’re a light sleeper that could be a problem.

Great motel, 100% would stay there again and recommend it

The pullout couch mattress was very uncomfortable.

We stayed in an upstairs road facing unit. Above average size for price. Clean and comfortable. Nice to wake up to blue skies, an unimpeded view of Lake Rotorua/Mokoia Island, and to see a hive of people/families enjoying the lake front playground, heading to eat street or getting in their daily workouts. Made use of the coffee cart outside the lodge driveway and headed off for a late breakfast just a hop, skip and jump away.

Unfortunately, a passing comment from the manager did leave a sour taste but it wouldn't be enough to deter me from booking this lodge again if the situation arises.

Close location to lake and town.

Not what was advertised. Door blinds semi broken. A cockroach crawled on my wife in middle of night in bed. Woke up with her freaking out. Managed to kill it. Saw under the couches there were leftover food (from previous renters) not vacuumed by housekeeping. Wife was afraid to use the teapot kettle as it looked dirty. The shower regulating temperature was so touchy, it was either a colder shower or too hot. And, my daughters’ adjacent room, she said there was blood stains on her sheets in bed.
