Kyoto Waka Hotel

All round epic. One of the most lovely hosts I’ve ever had.

Room was on the small side but so not an issue! We literally adored The Waka and would rec to everyone.

フロントの女性が大変丁寧に接してくれました！ 部屋も清潔で利用しやすかったです！ 結果的に使用はしていませんが１回にはランドリー2機、電子レンジ3機、ゴミ箱等があります。

エレベーターがないので大荷物の人は階数によっては大変だと思います

Ejeren var så sød og imødekommende! Ligger tæt på Kyoto St. og flotte templer.

For nogle vil lokationen måske være for “langt væk” fra centrum - men det var ok for os. Værelset var lidt småt, men det er forventeligt i Japan 😊

The place still looks very new and gives premium feels, good room design and lighting is also bright as well. Location wise is quite convenient, walking distances to a train station and also few bus stops, definitely good price to value if you want to stay around central kyoto and visit its main attractions. Host is very friendly, she gave us welcome package. :)

Nothing that I don't like, but maybe for few other people, they might feel there's very less space to move inside the room. and also the might not suitable for ladies who carry huge and heavy luggage specifically if you're placed on top floors.

Ruhige aber dennoch zentrale Lage

Es gibt keinen Lift und das Treppenhaus ist sehr schmal. Mit grossen Koffern schwierig.

Super friendly host, superb location close to several transport links and good small cafés and restaurants. As a solo traveller I found it to be a perfect base to explore Kyoto from.
