The staff were very welcoming on arrival and helpfully already had our room key sorted. The hotel was pleasant and clean though it should be noted that our room was very, very warm. This had been appreciated by the staff in advance by the placement of a fan in the room. We recognised that this could not be helped due to the heatwave and the lack of air con in an old building but we appreciated the effort.

The hotel needs a upgrade, we never got asked about breakfast. There was only two sockets in the room which one was taken with my husbands breathing machine, so it left us with one to use .

Location is great as opposite Windsor Castle. Hotel and room a little tired, however clean.

Fantastic location but the hotel is old & dated. First room bed was hard as a rock so asked to change the next day. New room much better bed but no air con on the 4th floor, stinking hot and automatic fan in bathroom did not turn off the whole time we were there even if light wasn’t on. Great location opposite castle but not sure if we’d stay there again unless upgrades were done.

Everything was fine.

This is not the hotel for an overnight layover, If you were staying in the Windsor Castle area, I would advise choosing a hotel that serves breakfast if you are an early morning person. There were no breakfast or even coffee and tea services in my flight left early, and there are no restaurants, coffee, shops, tea, shops open Until around 9 o’clock. They did provide a water kettle and some instant coffee for my room. As far as the area in View is concerned, if you stay in one of the third floor luxury rooms, you have a view of Windsor Castle out your fully functioning window. The castle also does not open early, and I had to leave the area before actually getting to enjoy it.

Good location, clean friendly staff

Not sure if the hotel has changed hands since I booked, it said when I booked they offered a cooked breakfast which you could order when you checked in , no food is now available. The hotel has had some work done in places but not finished, our room had a new toilet and sink but the bath panel needs replacing, the seal was black in places. There was no soap or shampoo provided, just towels. The new toilet flush button broke when pushed.

The location was terrific It's very near Windsor Castle and shopping and food are also nearby. The rooms are large.

A great central location, perfect to explore Windsor. We opted for an upgraded room and although a little tired (bathroom particularly) it was suitable for a place to rest. My friends room however was not as good, with the shower very poor (3rd floor). Overall an enjoyable stay
