The Violin House

Excellent accommodation and hospitality. The house is very comfortable and beautifully decorated, The hosts, Mixalis and Evelina, were very welcoming, offering us fruit, wine and a basket full of stuff for breakfast! They gave us tips on restaurants and places to go and were very helpful. The location was quiet and very close to Chania. We highly recommend this property for relaxing holidays.

The hosts were beyond wonderful! They greeted us with wine, cheese and fresh fruits and bread! They made great suggestions for our vacation and recommended restaurants. I wish all hosts were more like them! 5 stars ⭐️

The only negative was that it wasn’t walking distance for us to the Venetian Port- we drove and parking was a bit challenging- other than that everything was good!

We received a warm and welcoming greeting and departure. We received great recommendations on what to see and where to eat. I felt at home and would highly recommend if your in the area.

Such a lovely house with good aircondition. Neighbourhood was quiet and perfect for relaxing holiday. Would reccomend renting a car if your staying longer. Really be missing the house and the host that were so friendly and helpful.

Nicely decorated, decent sized bedrooms and lovely patio. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful treats and sweets left by owner. Owners were very prompt with communication and provided great recommendations. Would definitely stay again!

This property was absolutely perfect! So clean and well equipped with everything you could want or need thought about. It’s a little out of the main town which in some ways is great (more peaceful) but we found it better to get taxis to take us into town. It’s a solid 30 minute walk which we did on the first night, but when it is hot this leaves you pretty wrung out and for the sake of a €8 taxi it’s just not worth it. Loved everything about the place. Our hosts were unbelievable and we walked in to fruit, bread and wine. During our stay we also received fresh produce (tomatoes, peppers and melon) from their own garden. Just book this place and find out for yourself!!

I have nothing I dislike about it

The appartment is big and well decorated.big leaving room, big bsd room, and the kids are up in the gallery. It is located in a quiet neighborhood near chania old town, About 6min drive. And close to the high way, so it is easy for the day trips by car. The housepitality was great! Every thing you need, you have. We got somw wine and bread when arriving. Snd the wonderfull host brought us some bakeries at the last day. To sum up, great appatment, great location to go out of chania and travel, great houspitality! Thanks
