- amazing location in a fantastic nature spot - the window view and the design of the cottage - the family taking care of the camp, very friendly - tasty, homemade food - toilets and showers

- the cottages get quite stuffy during a hot day - driving there might be tricky when it comes to road quality so choose your vehicle wisely, with high clearance

You cannot describe this property without starting with the location. Absolutely gorgeous and ‘remote’ describes it perfectly. So quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We woke up in the morning with the view of the sun rising over the lake. There are only 6 sleeping pods, so there are never large crowds around and the distance between the pods is such that you never hear other guests. Dinner and breakfast were included in the room price and there is also a menu with additional options. Other guests were enjoying wine with a view of the setting sun. We had a wonderful time sitting in a lounge chair by the fire as the sun went down. The showers and toilets were clean and I even had warm water in the early morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our visit.

Please note that you will need an SUV to drive down the 13 km gravel road to this property. We were informed of this often and it came as no surprise. Just something to keep in mind. The property can arrange transportation. There were many mosquitos (due to the season) so be sure to bring bug spray. One other guest had left the door to one of the toilets open in the evening and I had to spent 10 minutes getting rid of over 20 mosquitos before sitting down. Summers can get quite warm, and the pods warm up fast. Nights are cooler, but the pods cool down slowly. There are vents but without much wind we had a pretty warm night. As there is no curtain you will most likely wake up early, so waiting to fall asleep in the warmth is not ideal.

Superb location on shores of Lake Issul. Very nice cabins with a perfect view. Perfect place to see the sun go down from the terrace at the restaurant.

For guests self driving, explain that they can take a left turn through the canyon or a right turn over the easier road down to the lake.

Absolutely brilliant stay!!! Ruslan and Alina were wonderful hosts and we were even extra lucky to meet the owners who were very welcoming as well. Wonderful facilities, showers, WiFi and more! The food was also absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to be back !

The property is just gorgeous. It's one of the best locations I have ever been to. The huts are cozy, classy and have all amenites. Just stunning and breathtaking views of the mountains and the Issyk Kul lake all around. It's really remote and peaceful. You will be greeted by Maska (cute little dog), Nurlan And Eliza. We had fun time conversing with both Nurlan and Eliza through our Google translator. They are very nice and kind. And they cooked superamazing food for us. We also had a bonfire in the evening which was super amazing.

There's nothing that I didn't like. But if you are coming from Bishkek please note that the transport cost is high.

Stunning surroundings, beautiful architecture of the cabins and the main facilities building. Great showers, super comfortable bed and the views to die for. Nurlan and Eliza were always cheerful and helpful as was the owner Dima and his lovely sons. This was an unforgettable experience. I am glad I got to stay two nights, although could have easily stayed longer. P.S. Google maps did not find the route, but 2GIS navigation app does. From Ak Say village follow the signs to the neighbouring Feel Nomad yurt camp for 13 km. At the end you will also see a Remote sign. Phone reception cuts off when driving through the canyon but once you arrive there will be wifi.
